Got Chutzpah is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Jewish connection through joyful, in-person cultural programming. We create welcoming spaces where Jews and allies gather offline to laugh, meet, and build meaningful relationships rooted in warmth, humor, and shared identity.
Our flagship program, The Jewish Dating Game, is a live matchmaking comedy show created and hosted by Linnea Sage. Each performance opens with a comedic sermon affirming that feeling Jewish is enough and that anyone with Jewish heritage belongs. We center younger, secular, interfaith, and non identifying Jews, including those with one Jewish grandparent, and proudly welcome allies.
Beyond a single night out, the show functions as a third space, a consistent, feel good gathering where people return month after month to laugh, reconnect, make friends, and ritualize Jewish joy. Audiences leave feeling more connected, more confident, and less alone.
In a time when isolation is rising and public Jewish life can feel complicated, we believe joy is powerful. We believe belonging is essential. And we believe community is built face to face.

Jewish Belonging Should Feel Good
Got Chutzpah exists to create low-barrier entry points into Jewish community life. We center younger, secular, interfaith, and non-identifying Jews, including those with one Jewish grandparent, and we proudly welcome allies.
Our programs are designed as modern Jewish third spaces: consistent, joyful gatherings where people return month after month to reconnect, build friendships, and ritualize Jewish joy together.
When people leave our events, they leave feeling more connected, more confident, and less alone.
OUR FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
The Jewish Dating Game
Our premiere program, The Jewish Dating Game, is a live theatrical matchmaking comedy show created and hosted by Linnea Sage.
Each performance opens with a comedic sermon affirming a simple truth: feeling Jewish is enough.
Contestants meet on stage in a supportive, playful environment. The audience laughs, roots for them, and then gathers afterward to mingle and connect.
Since launch, the show has produced 27 performances and consistently brings together 75 to 100+ attendees per event.
More than a night out, the show functions as community infrastructure. A third space for individuals to feel comfortable being publicly Jewish.
IMPACT & RECOGNITION
“The Jewish Dating Game brought an unforgettable evening of Jewish joy and meaningful connection to our community and to the EDCJCC. Despite a recent snowstorm, more than 100 people showed up, a true testament to the excitement surrounding this event and the deep need for relational programming like this.
One attendee called it the best program they had ever attended at the EDCJCC. Throughout the night, you could see participants (and not just the ones on stage) deep in conversation, connecting with old friends, meeting new ones, swapping numbers, and having a blast while doing so.
