Got Chutzpah produces live, in-person Jewish gathering spaces designed to be returned to. Our flagship program runs monthly in New York and tours nationally. New programs are in development.
FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
The Jewish Dating Game.
The Jewish Dating Game is a live, theatrical matchmaking program for Jewish singles, with couples, friends, and allies welcome in the audience. Each show features two rounds of live matchmaking.
One contestant questions three potential matches from behind a mechitzah, hearing voices before seeing faces. Two new couples leave each night with fully comped dinner dates at NYC's best Jewish and Israeli restaurants.
Each show opens with a comedic sermon affirming a simple truth: feeling Jewish is enough. Anyone with Jewish heritage belongs. Allies are welcomed.
The post-show mingle is often the best part of the night. Numbers get exchanged. Friendships start. People stay later than they meant to.

Since July 2024, The Jewish Dating Game has produced more than 30 live shows across New York City, Miami, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and the Catskills. We've welcomed more than 3,000 audience members and put more than 250 contestants on stage, with Denver up next.

New programs in development.
The Jewish Dating Game is our flagship. It is not our only ambition.
Got Chutzpah was built so that more live Jewish gathering spaces could exist, more often, in more places, with the same low-barrier values. We are currently scoping new programs, including expanded LGBTJEW programming, partnerships with university Hillels, and new formats for cities and audiences the dating game does not yet serve.

Do I have to be Jewish to attend?
No. Allies are welcomed at every show, every time. If you love a Jewish person or just want to be in good company, you’re in.
Do I have to be single to attend?
No. Couples, friends, and anyone who enjoys a great live show are welcome. Many of our regulars come in groups.
How do I become a contestant?
Contestant submissions happen when you buy your ticket. Apply at thejewishdatinggame.com. Our resident Yenta reviews submissions to find matches with potential.
How can I bring the show to my city?
We tour. JCCs, synagogues, federations, and cultural institutions can host a show or a two-show residency. See the Partner With Us page.
